    Many of the foreign aluminum alloy forgings are non machined surfaces, and the surface treatment of the forgings is bright and complete. It gives a good impression on the surface of the forgings. In contrast, the domestic aluminum alloy forgings have many defects, many surface defects, and unevenness, unlike a complete die forgings, which have a great contrast to the foreign forgings. This is mainly due to the low level of our whole forging process system. The main performance of the forging process is that the design and processing of the die are not suitable, the precision is not high, the lubrication is not good, the size of the blank is not suitable or the precision is not high; 2. The control of the deformation of each fire is unreasonable, the deformation speed is too fast, and the crack and fracture are produced. Defects such as stacking defects; 3. Uneven surface, large grinding capacity, even cracks or folding, easy to bring into parts, resulting in adverse consequences. At the same time, it also needs to be improved and improved on the surface treatment of aluminum alloy and the use of lubricants. It can be improved by drawing on the technological process of the aluminum forgings manufacturers, the high quality lubricants, the spraying methods and the surface treatment methods of the forging parts.

    The coarse grain on the surface of aluminum alloy forgings has become the biggest problem in China, and it is difficult to completely eliminate it in production. This aspect is related to the poor fluidity of the alloy surface and the rough crystal of the surface; on the other hand, it is related to the coarse grain of the raw material itself, and the preheating temperature of our mold is lower (generally 100~250, while the preheating temperature of the foreign dies is at 350~400), and the forging temperature (beginning / final forging temperature). The selection control, the precise control of furnace temperature, the degree of deformation and the rate of deformation have a great relationship. It is difficult to see the trace of grinding, even if the large free forgings and die forgings are almost invisible to the surface of the surface. This is because we are forging a large number of forging processes for aluminum alloy forging and forging a large number of press machines in foreign aluminum alloy forged. The surface of the mold cavity is uniform, the surface of the forging is smooth and clean, and the lubricant technology is better than us (the automatic spray lubricant has been used), so the surface of the forgings can hardly see the existence of the coarse grain. We can see that there is still a lack of surface cleaning for aluminum forgings.
